The Best Things to Do in Spring Hill, FloridaThe name on the plat was **Spring Lake**. That is what the developers called it, what they printed on the brochures, and what they sold to people looking for a piece of mid-century Florida. The only problem was that the name was already taken down the road. So in 1967, the Deltona Corporation and the Mackle Brothers settled on **Spring Hill**.
Parks and Nature near Spring HillSpring Hill was supposed to be called Spring Lake, but the name was taken, so the developers shrugged and built a town anyway. The nature here does the heavy lifting; the parks just hold the doors open.
Fishing Charters and Boat Tours in Spring HillThe water here does most of the talking, and it has been doing so since before the town itself had a name.
